OLO ma beans!! I'm sorry this post went up so late, I didn't get home until like an hour ago... But some important stuff happened today: I don't think life gets better than this. I honestly don't think it does. Literally someone Internet slap me please because I just had the best day ever. FIRST OF ALL I HAD A FULL 8 HOURS OF SLEEP!!!! When was the last time that happened?? Maybe like one year ago.
Wow... Even my winter break is boring... I'm still at the Double Tree by Hilton in Berkeley. Looking at the bay while blogging. I am seriously embracing this blogging life. On Friday we arrived at the hotel at around seven, I jogged and swam at the fitness center. I tired myself out so I wouldn't hear my grandmother snoring.
OLO ma beans!! After the whole week of binge watching shows and attending parties... I am not ready to go back to school. This post is not really about what happened during the weekend but it's actually about how I spent the days that I was not bloggin. So on Thursday I went to my aunt's annual Thanksgiving party and slept over the next day to go to another party near there.
I imagined this... but nahhh |
I don't know why or how but I always end up dreaming about GOT7, yesterday with 626 and throughout the whole week I was hoping that GOT7 would stay long enough to go to 626, but of course they left for Korea TWO days before 626 started, I guess GOT7 was just on my mind before I went to bed. This dream was even more perfect than the last one. It starts on the street where there was a noodle shop called "Unydon Noodle Shop" where they sold ramyun. The restaurant was really small and each table had labels on them with celebrity names. The celebrity for that day in the far corner was Mark and BamBam.
![]() |
Mark was wearing something like this but his shirt was white, and the jersey was silver. |
Something along the lines of this.... |
![]() |
So BamBam was wearing this exact outfit. |
It was a mix between the Oh My Ghostess restaurants and this with circular and short tables that are further apart. |
You see JB's autograph, it was something along the lines of that. Nothing similar to Mark's original autograph. |
WHY??? WHY?????? I SHOULD HAVE JUST SAID, "YOUR AUTOGRAPH" THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE END OF IT. He didn't write anything at all and he just stood up and asked me, "There is this dinner thing on the top deck. You wanna go?" I guess???? SIGN MY CELLPHONE CASE PLEZ!! Again, NOPE. We went up to the top deck and by this point the cruise ship stopped right next to a beach, we could see the people on the sand and it was just a awesome view. There was a suppperrrr long table set up with a white table cloth covering. Mark was sitting on the other side, he even left the ship for a while to go fly a kite, but then he came back and he was like, "You want that autograph now?" and I was just like, "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" He signed it and wrote something like "I had fun." Or something like that and just when I was about to ask Bam for his autograph, I WOKE UP. This realllllyyyy saddened me because I woke up BY MYSELF, WITHOUT ANY ALARM CLOCK OR NOTHING LIKE THAT, LIKE I JUST WOKE UP!! This dream was even more perfect than the last one. Like I got to spend about two hours with Mark even if it's just in my dreams. I was mostly disappointed because it was a dream, and like I didn't actually meet them, especially Bam who was completely silent for the whole time. This dream was so vivid that I could feel the wind blowing and the smells of the sea + BBQ + the noodles. I never wanted it to end. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.
With all honesty, when I first got to 626.... I wasn't super excited, my friend told me how the food was expensive, there was EXTREMELY long lines, and the whole market was basically people. You know how normally, people will be like, "BUT SHE WAS WRONG!" NOPETY NOPE NOPE!!! SHE WAS RIGHT THIS TIME!!!! It wasn't a bad experience because I did have fun, but if I was to go there just for the food and gifts, I would have been completely disappointed. This market was a one time thing, #neveragain. So let's do a break down, I knew that I wasn't going to be full just from the snacks and food that they had there so I bought a burger beforehand which filled me almost all the way. 626 opens at 4 and continues all the way until 1 AM and since LA is raining Fire everyday, I decided to meet my friend there at around 7:00 (according to Siri is when the sun will set). When I got there, the cars were already lined up, and inching slowly into the massive race track parking lot. Upon arriving at the entrance for CARS, the road was divided into 2, the closer parking space was $5 and if you park further away, it's free. My mom dropped me off in the free parking space, and I met up with F. The whole time though I was kind of worried about my skin because the night before, my skin started acting all crazy with pimples and stuff, so I finally fixed it with some BB cream, and I felt really awkward, but anyways. We paid the $3 entrance fee which I found ridiculous since I'm going in to pay more money for food. When I first entered their wasn't a lot of people and everything was over priced. A teddy bear was $25 which was expected since F was hungry, we went straight to the food area. First thing I bought was this J shaped ice cream cone that I saw in a Kdrama and wanted to try it ever since. If it was just the ice cream, go to McDonalds, it's the same ice cream. Making past probably like 200 people, we finally bought some swirly potatoes which I always wanted to try. F suggested that we go and get the mason jars with tea, but since you guys don't know this, I get realllllyyyy bad headaches from drinking boba and some times milk tea, plus I only slept around 5 hours last night which didn't help at all. We bought the tea and I realized how many people there were. I was there from 7:00-9:30 and more and more people started coming in. I felt super uncomfortable in lines because EVERYONE were super close and right next to each other. The mason jar was a complete waste of money in my opinion, why did you buy it you ask?? Well, it's like paying $7 for a memory. The memory of the first and last time I will go to someplace like 626. We couldn't even make it close to the stinky tofu booth because we didn't have the time to wait in the long line that wraps around the booth. Making it back to the gift shop area was even more difficult than coming into the area. Speaking of difficulty, some of the booth had "coming soon" underneath the food that they offer. UHHHHH excuse me?? "Coming soon"?? How soon?? There was art and music, even though I didn't enjoy the genre of music played. We were hoping not to run into anyone from school, but of course, that didn't happen. It was awkward but we got through it. Moving on from all of the negatives of this market, I wanna give a shoutout to the guy in the white shirt who saved us a spot while F went to go buy chicken!!! You literally made my life so much easier!!! Also to that cute guy in the blue pants and white shirt that I saw 3 times tonight, call me maybe!!!! To the guy that F bought chicken from, you have a very attractive face.... My legs hurts terribly right now and I threw up after eating the food, so.... Thanks 626 and see you never!!! If you guys are going to go, I'd like to hear your experience. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
Go Hara caused a whole bunch of drama when the MR Removed version of Choco Chip Cookies came out. I listened to it, and I couldn't even get past the 1:00 minute mark. So I decided to listen to the song with the auto tune. It was a WHOLLLEEEE LLOTTTT BEETTTEERRRR. I've liked Go Hara ever since her appearance in City Hunter.
She is so pretty and cute, and for this single, she tanned herself. Although it doesn't look good with her without good lighting, so I'm glad that the MV lighting made her skin look radiant. The backup dancer in her MV was also extremely attractive. OKAY WE ARE GETTING DISTRACTED!! Let's begin with the MV, the beginning of the MV basically covers my life goals when I'm in my 20s. Then when she had a montage with her "boyfriend" that is also super cute and adorable. It is also a goal of mine... Watch, Imma be alone forever in college. I liked the costuming for the MV until she was wearing her blue sequenced sparkly shorts.
The MV was super watchable. The song lyrics didn't really make sense, since she was singing about how moist the cookies were and all she baked it for the first time. UHHHHHH... You just managed to make my favorite snack other than popcorn sexual... You just made chocolate cookies sexual... FLABABABABBA.... I like the breakdown in between the chorus, because the dance there is also super cute. With all honesty aside, she can't sing. She's really pretty, but she can't sing. Without auto tune, the only way that she can attract anyone is with her appearance. Out of ten starts, I would rate it a six out of ten because the MV and her song is all gift wrapping but when it comes to raw talent, she should stick to acting. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.
Do you see her shorts?? But look
at the guy...
Since it's summer and you have all survived the last five weeks with me with Project Inspiration and so it's back to the good old times when you guys send me questions for Q&A Thursday. So this week, you guys asked for a night routine... Well then here it is...
Q: Do you wear lotion or anything on your face when you go to bed?
A: I moisturize in the morning with Shiseido toner and this matifying moisturizer also from their brand. But you are asking me about my night routine. The weather in CA is reallllllyyyy dry and warm and I have extremely oily skin, so during the summer nights, I don't moisturize because the next day, even without any lotion, my face will be oily. Some times before my moon cycle I would get pimples and when that happens I would just apply aloe vera to my face and the next day it would be all better. To answer your question, no... I do not wear anything on my face.
Q: Do you prefer a softer face wash or a more cleansing face wash?
A: Honestly I only have a gist of what you are asking, I guess I prefer to use a more cleansing face wash... Like the ones that strips your skin of everything after the wash and your face feels really clean. I have used three face wash so far:
I am currently using this one and it sucks, despite all of the YouTube commercials |
This is Shiseido's classic face wash and it does exactly what I said it does. |
This is their new one... It is super smooth and it serves it's purpose. |
A: Very broad, I like it!!! Ugh why am I so creepy... I usually do my eye exercises... Yea I am creepy that way and also because I am super blind as you know and I just don't want my eye sight to get any worse. I am also a night shower-er so I would wash my hair... And of course I would brush my teeth!!
Okay so right now... My favorite store to buy clothes is Ross and my favorite shoe store is Burlington. I don't even go to the mall anymore because the stuff that I find is seriously all less than $20 at these stores. I have super tiny feet before I think my feet were like size 5 and like last month I bought a pair of shoes that is size 4, and now I can't even fit into size 4 because it is so big. I literally buy all of my shoes from the children's section. Anyways, since these clothing stores are department stores with everything from food to gardening tools... It's no doubt that the people who shop there has no manners. Let's start with the staff that works there. Ross is like Big Lots (my favorite snack place... I buy tea from there... LOL) anyways both of these places are staffed with old people who are very... extremely... *insert all synonyms of very* grouchy. So this one time, I wanted to try on my clothes and they are like, "PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON THE RACK PLEAAASSEEE. RIGHT NOW!!" I had like 8 different stuff to try on and all of the hangers are all wrangled together so I couldn't put it on that fast and I get this kind of attitude. Basically every single time that I go to Ross, something like that happens. Oh here is another experience that I had, so it was my grandma's birthday, and my mom bought two pairs of the same pants for her to try on, and then on one of the pants they forgot to take off the weird security thing with the ink thing if you broke it... that heavy thing... Yea... And so when my mom and I went with her to return the bigger pants, they were like, "YOU DEMONIC CHILD!!! YOU STOLE THISSSS AND NOW YOU WANT MONEY BACCKKKK????!!!!" They actually didn't say the beginning but they were basically accusing my mom and I for shoplifting. Second the people who shops there are the WORST!!! They literally do not care about anyone. I've passed by so many people that smelled like fried food, onions, tacos, and cooked things. I seriously do not understand how someone could smell like that and go IN PUBLIC!! There are three Rosses near me, and so today I went to the smaller one. OH MY LORD JEZUZ!! Since the place is really small AND they moved things around so they are closer together, it is even harder to maneuver around. There was this lady, she was trying on a outer covering in front of one of the mirrors next to the racks and she just left her cart between the aisle, and so when I tried to push my cart through... IT WAS RIGHT THERE!! And you know that thing where you like move your things out of the way when someone is trying to pass??? YEA SHE DID NOT DO THAT!! Oh my fluffy chickens. Then some people just don't say excuse me, there have been so many instances where people just shove pass me. So that's how I spent today. Shoutout to all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives so I can be alive right now to write this blog. Thank you so much for protecting our country. Until next time, have a great Memorial Day and stay cool ma beans!!
