Memorial Weekend 2K16: Lunch Dates and Dinner Dates

1:30 AM

OLO ma beans!! I'm sorry this post went up so late, I didn't get home until like an hour ago... But some important stuff happened today: I don't think life gets better than this. I honestly don't think it does. Literally someone Internet slap me please because I just had the best day ever. FIRST OF ALL I HAD A FULL 8 HOURS OF SLEEP!!!! When was the last time that happened?? Maybe like one year ago.

After getting up, it was around lunch time and I had a lunch date with one of the best, THE BEST people ever. Legit she's like my mentor/idol/sister and she's also on the admission team at University of California Berkeley. Do I kinda want to go to that school?? Yeaa.... Do I kinda love the fact that she's a family friend??? OBVIOUSLY!! I have met with admission officers from different colleges before but they're all strangers so what's really awesome about this situation is the fact that I can say anything I want and she understands where I'm coming from. She graduated from the same high school as me, went to Berkeley, and now works there. Like uhhhh can I have your life please?? It's so great having someone who can give me pointers and lists that tells me what I should do next to better my chances at getting into the colleges that I want. You know the other reason why she's really, realllllyyyy awesome?? She buys me food.
I offered to pay, but ma beans... She always gets me. She told me if I want to pay her back, I have to get a job and do that. Ooof the pressure is on. I don't think last year I brought you guys with me for this holiday, but I headed over to my aunt's house for her BBQ party with a bunch of strangers... BUT SO I THOUGHT!! Apparently the doctor that I met knew me a long time ago. And by a long time ago I mean literally when I was going through my embarrassing phases, he was there to witness it all. Yup, that was fun. I managed to embarass myself in front of someone even before meeting them. My life is so sad. Well I guess this day isn't actually that great... Another interesting I met there was a dude who worked at WallStreet. This is one of the most interesting backstories I have heard so far. Apparently, he married a woman from this super exotic country in Asia (I forgot where) and after bringing her back to the U.S. she cheated on him, left him her child and ran off somewhere. He is now basically living off all of the money he earned from Wall Street to raise his kid. That dude is living the life... I want a life where I just live off of the millions of dollars I made... Now how do I get there without doing anything?? HMMMM that's the challenge. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

Christmas Vacation 2015: College Visiting

12:19 AM

Wow... Even my winter break is boring... I'm still at the Double Tree by Hilton in Berkeley. Looking at the bay while blogging. I am seriously embracing this blogging life. On Friday we arrived at the hotel at around seven, I jogged and swam at the fitness center. I tired myself out so I wouldn't hear my grandmother snoring.

AND IT WORKED!! The next day we headed out to Berkeley and Stanford which is amazing because I got to see the colleges that I won't be able to get into. At Berkeley I spent the morning feeding the tons of squirrels that are on that campus. THEY ARE SO CUTE!! I swear these are the friendliest squirrels ever... They all ate crackers from my hands and jumped around me. I am not even joking but I felt like a princess. After lunch we drove to Stanford in which I strolled around the big campus, taking pictures like the Asian tourist I am. The campus was so big and ancient... I didn't like the school because it was really big but I might of had a different reaction if there were some students there so I could feel more like a student. At night I was able to visit the little town that I was living in and it was so nice besides the fact that I was freezing my butt off.
The last day of vacation, we stopped on the way at a lake... Which was super pretty because the field surrounding the lake was golllldeeennnn!! AND THERE WERE EITHER DEER OR REINDEER THERE LIKE SANTA IS REAL!! We got home around one in the morning. The downside of this whole vacation was the food. We literally ate fast food two meals a day and it is ridiculously expensive. Okay fast food cannot be over fifty dollars but the price was a looooott different from the fast food chain at home. The dollar menu was basically nonexistent and each burger was around three to seven dollars. EXCUSE ME!! If I want to eat mainstream fast food I should not have to pay this much for something that I would normally get for $1. I hope you guys get a chance to visit these places in the future. Until next time, stay cool ma beans and happy New Year!!

Weekend Happenings: 3 More Weeks

9:00 AM

OLO ma beans!! After the whole week of binge watching shows and attending parties... I am not ready to go back to school. This post is not really about what happened during the weekend but it's actually about how I spent the days that I was not bloggin. So on Thursday I went to my aunt's annual Thanksgiving party and slept over the next day to go to another party near there.

The first party is mostly close family friends who comes over, like my cousins' nanny's family and people from their orchestra. This year, two new additions came along: one was a college genius who is majoring in math and computer engineering while the other is a agent who used to be a rockstar musician... OkAy tHen. There was typical Thanksgiving food like turkey and pies... and there were movies.... I did nothing but watch movies and eat.... This party wasn't CRAZY AT ALL... because it was all about discussing politics and how the stocks market is doing... I typically stay out of this kind of conversation because if I engage myself... I'm going to get a beat down from my uncle (who is EXTREMELY pro-republican) Once I asked him who he was voting for (BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER) he gave me a thirty minute lecture on why the republicans are better...
At this time I was ten so the conversation was beyond awkward. The party the next day was crazy in the place that we went to. My aunt already lives in the "wealthy" neighborhood but THIS PARTY... OH MY CHEESEBALLS!! This party was hosted by one of my mom's friends and her house requires a MAP to navigate around their 28493984 living rooms. Their one restroom is bigger than my entire living room I KID YOU NOT!! What I got out of the party was the romantic kdrama feel you know?? Since the house was right next to the beach... I just stood on their balcony with my apple cider (cause ya know... I can't drink yet) and stared at the ocean (it was really dark so literally I was just looking at blackness and freezing my butt off).
I imagined this... but nahhh
IT WAS WORTH IT THOUGH!! This week, I have a insanely long post about the BTS comeback for tomorrow and I'm back to regularly bloggin. This Saturday is my SAT test and honestly I'm pretty sure my score is going to drop... GOTTA STUDAY HARD!! I am also CONTINUING my Weight Challenge along with my friend. I know I've been really inconsistent but you see, while attending these lavishing parties I realized that since I'm dumb... the only way I can get a boyfriend is IF I'm skinny... SO HERE WE GO AGAIN!! Finally by looking at the title you guys probably figured out by now that we only have another 3 weeks until CHRISTMAS BREAK!! Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

Dream Journal: The Perfect Fan Meeting

10:25 AM

I don't know why or how but I always end up dreaming about GOT7, yesterday with 626 and throughout the whole week I was hoping that GOT7 would stay long enough to go to 626, but of course they left for Korea TWO days before 626 started, I guess GOT7 was just on my mind before I went to bed. This dream was even more perfect than the last one. It starts on the street where there was a noodle shop called "Unydon Noodle Shop" where they sold ramyun. The restaurant was really small and each table had labels on them with celebrity names. The celebrity for that day in the far corner was Mark and BamBam.

Mark was wearing something like this but his shirt was white, and the jersey was silver.
Something along the lines of this....
So BamBam was wearing this exact outfit.
Anyways, so I went in with my friend super excited, (this was one of those super vivid dreams where you just can feel the atmosphere and touch everything) I could feel myself blushing and get all jittery. The doorway was super small and the restaurant's store front was made of glass, so I could see through the store right at them.
It was a mix between the Oh My Ghostess
restaurants and this with circular and short
tables that are further apart.
Mark didn't look happy at all, like he literally didn't want to be there, but he was. BamBam just had a neutral and bored expression but Mark literally looked angry and annoyed. Thinking that it was just me, I ignored my friend and I just walked towards them. On the ground was this super fluffy hamster bear stuffed animal (it's a dream people so IDK why it was there), so I picked it up and kinda hid my face behind it because I was so happppyyyyy. I basically was like, "Hi!!" And like Mark just kind of stared at me with an annoyed look, Bam just like smiled, but I was facing Mark, so I could see his expression clearly. He was crossing his arms and he just kind of silently judged me, so I started putting the bear on the ground, and I felt like it wasn't a fan meeting but it just so happens that they were there and was waiting for something. Mark still didn't say anything, and Bam was like looking in his direction so I was like, "I'm sorry that I bothered you guys. I guess now is not a good time. I'll come back later..."
You see JB's autograph, it was something
along the lines of that. Nothing similar
to Mark's original autograph.

Then when I was about to go to where my friend was sitting, Mark stood up and like awkwardly leaned against wall with his foot propped up and was like, "Did I meet your expectations on how I should act?" I was just like, "UHHHHHH... IDK what you mean broooooooooo...." So I was just like, "It's totally cool if you aren't feeling like meeting fans today, I'm totally cool with that. You don't need to meet anyone's expectations." Mark is just like, "Everyday I'm forced to do all this stuff and I get thrown on to these things without a warning, and it just sucks." I nodded along... My brain finally decided to give me a background on what I was doing hanging out with Mark, so my school was on a cruise and Mark was on the same cruise. I felt like my parents were there but they were just not around. Mark then was like, "Since you're here, do you want to sit with us?" I replied, "Uh sure, let me go and drop my stuff off." I don't even know why I had to drop my stuff off because my friends' table was like two feet away.... BUT I did. And they were taking a picture without me, so I had to photo bomb that picture, but then by the time that I went back to Mark's table, there was already another girl asking for his autograph, and I saw how he wrote a bunnnnchhhh of stuff for her, so I'm guessing that he was back to being happy again. NOPE. I went up to him with my cell phone case and he was like, "What do you want me to write?" GUESS WHAT I SAID?? FACEEEEPAAALLLMMMMM... I SAID, "Write what you wrote for her."

WHY??? WHY?????? I SHOULD HAVE JUST SAID, "YOUR AUTOGRAPH" THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE END OF IT. He didn't write anything at all and he just stood up and asked me, "There is this dinner thing on the top deck. You wanna go?" I guess???? SIGN MY CELLPHONE CASE PLEZ!! Again, NOPE.
We went up to the top deck and by this point the cruise ship stopped right next to a beach, we could see the people on the sand and it was just a awesome view. There was a suppperrrr long table set up with a white table cloth covering. Mark was sitting on the other side, he even left the ship for a while to go fly a kite, but then he came back and he was like, "You want that autograph now?" and I was just like, "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" He signed it and wrote something like "I had fun." Or something like that and just when I was about to ask Bam for his autograph, I WOKE UP. This realllllyyyy saddened me because I woke up BY MYSELF, WITHOUT ANY ALARM CLOCK OR NOTHING LIKE THAT, LIKE I JUST WOKE UP!! This dream was even more perfect than the last one. Like I got to spend about two hours with Mark even if it's just in my dreams. I was mostly disappointed because it was a dream, and like I didn't actually meet them, especially Bam who was completely silent for the whole time. This dream was so vivid that I could feel the wind blowing and the smells of the sea + BBQ + the noodles. I never wanted it to end. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

626 Night Market

626 Night Market: Bleh.

1:38 AM

With all honesty, when I first got to 626.... I wasn't super excited, my friend told me how the food was expensive, there was EXTREMELY long lines, and the whole market was basically people. You know how normally, people will be like, "BUT SHE WAS WRONG!" NOPETY NOPE NOPE!!! SHE WAS RIGHT THIS TIME!!!! It wasn't a bad experience because I did have fun, but if I was to go there just for the food and gifts, I would have been completely disappointed. This market was a one time thing, #neveragain. So let's do a break down, I knew that I wasn't going to be full just from the snacks and food that they had there so I bought a burger beforehand which filled me almost all the way. 626 opens at 4 and continues all the way until 1 AM and since LA is raining Fire everyday, I decided to meet my friend there at around 7:00 (according to Siri is when the sun will set). When I got there, the cars were already lined up, and inching slowly into the massive race track parking lot. Upon arriving at the entrance for CARS, the road was divided into 2, the closer parking space was $5 and if you park further away, it's free. My mom dropped me off in the free parking space, and I met up with F. The whole time though I was kind of worried about my skin because the night before, my skin started acting all crazy with pimples and stuff, so I finally fixed it with some BB cream, and I felt really awkward, but anyways. We paid the $3 entrance fee which I found ridiculous since I'm going in to pay more money for food. When I first entered their wasn't a lot of people and everything was over priced. A teddy bear was $25 which was expected since F was hungry, we went straight to the food area. First thing I bought was this J shaped ice cream cone that I saw in a Kdrama and wanted to try it ever since. If it was just the ice cream, go to McDonalds, it's the same ice cream. Making past probably like 200 people, we finally bought some swirly potatoes which I always wanted to try. F suggested that we go and get the mason jars with tea, but since you guys don't know this, I get realllllyyyy bad headaches from drinking boba and some times milk tea, plus I only slept around 5 hours last night which didn't help at all. We bought the tea and I realized how many people there were. I was there from 7:00-9:30 and more and more people started coming in. I felt super uncomfortable in lines because EVERYONE were super close and right next to each other. The mason jar was a complete waste of money in my opinion, why did you buy it you ask?? Well, it's like paying $7 for a memory. The memory of the first and last time I will go to someplace like 626. We couldn't even make it close to the stinky tofu booth because we didn't have the time to wait in the long line that wraps around the booth. Making it back to the gift shop area was even more difficult than coming into the area. Speaking of difficulty, some of the booth had "coming soon" underneath the food that they offer. UHHHHH excuse me?? "Coming soon"?? How soon?? There was art and music, even though I didn't enjoy the genre of music played. We were hoping not to run into anyone from school, but of course, that didn't happen. It was awkward but we got through it. Moving on from all of the negatives of this market, I wanna give a shoutout to the guy in the white shirt who saved us a spot while F went to go buy chicken!!! You literally made my life so much easier!!! Also to that cute guy in the blue pants and white shirt that I saw 3 times tonight, call me maybe!!!! To the guy that F bought chicken from, you have a very attractive face.... My legs hurts terribly right now and I threw up after eating the food, so.... Thanks 626 and see you never!!! If you guys are going to go, I'd like to hear your experience. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

Choco Chip Cookies

Reaction Tuesday: I've Been Craving Some "Choco Chip Cookies"

9:00 AM

Go Hara caused a whole bunch of drama when the MR Removed version of Choco Chip Cookies came out. I listened to it, and I couldn't even get past the 1:00 minute mark. So I decided to listen to the song with the auto tune. It was a WHOLLLEEEE LLOTTTT BEETTTEERRRR. I've liked Go Hara ever since her appearance in City Hunter.

She is so pretty and cute, and for this single, she tanned herself. Although it doesn't look good with her without good lighting, so I'm glad that the MV lighting made her skin look radiant. The backup dancer in her MV was also extremely attractive. OKAY WE ARE GETTING DISTRACTED!! Let's begin with the MV, the beginning of the MV basically covers my life goals when I'm in my 20s. Then when she had a montage with her "boyfriend" that is also super cute and adorable. It is also a goal of mine... Watch, Imma be alone forever in college. I liked the costuming for the MV until she was wearing her blue sequenced sparkly shorts.
Do you see her shorts?? But look
at the guy...
The MV was super watchable. The song lyrics didn't really make sense, since she was singing about how moist the cookies were and all she baked it for the first time. UHHHHHH... You just managed to make my favorite snack other than popcorn sexual... You just made chocolate cookies sexual... FLABABABABBA.... I like the breakdown in between the chorus, because the dance there is also super cute. With all honesty aside, she can't sing. She's really pretty, but she can't sing. Without auto tune, the only way that she can attract anyone is with her appearance. Out of ten starts, I would rate it a six out of ten because the MV and her song is all gift wrapping but when it comes to raw talent, she should stick to acting. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

Q&A Thursday: Night Routine

9:39 PM

Since it's summer and you have all survived the last five weeks with me with Project Inspiration and so it's back to the good old times when you guys send me questions for Q&A Thursday. So this week, you guys asked for a night routine... Well then here it is...
Q: Do you wear lotion or anything on your face when you go to bed?
A: I moisturize in the morning with Shiseido toner and this matifying moisturizer also from their brand. But you are asking me about my night routine. The weather in CA is reallllllyyyy dry and warm and I have extremely oily skin, so during the summer nights, I don't moisturize because the next day, even without any lotion, my face will be oily. Some times before my moon cycle I would get pimples and when that happens I would just apply aloe vera to my face and the next day it would be all better. To answer your question, no... I do not wear anything on my face.

Q: Do you prefer a softer face wash or a more cleansing face wash?
A: Honestly I only have a gist of what you are asking, I guess I prefer to use a more cleansing face wash... Like the ones that strips your skin of everything after the wash and your face feels really clean. I have used three face wash so far:

I am currently using this one and it sucks,
despite all of the YouTube commercials
This is Shiseido's classic face wash
and it does exactly what I said it does.

This is their new one... It is super smooth
and it serves it's purpose.

Q: What do you do before you sleep?
A: Very broad, I like it!!! Ugh why am I so creepy... I usually do my eye exercises... Yea I am creepy that way and also because I am super blind as you know and I just don't want my eye sight to get any worse. I am also a night shower-er so I would wash my hair... And of course I would brush my teeth!!
Q: Do you use lotion?
A: A lot of my friends don't use body lotion or hand lotion. I always use body lotion after I shower because if I don't I feel really dry, but the weird thing is, I don't use hand lotion because I have sweaty hands so yea... GROSSS....
Q: Do you eat anything before bed?
A: I have never ate anything before bed or during the night. When I was small I used to drink milk before I went to bed but then I stopped because I don't like milk even though it's good for you. I would eat fruits... At least one small rice bowl... IDK how to measure that... But yea... Like a full apple or something... Because I LOVE FRUITS!!
Q: How long do you use your phone before you sleep?
A: Blue light is what keeps you awake and that is emitted from your phone, so the longer you have your phone the harder to sleep. This is why I sleep at like one or two everyday. I usually go to bed around 11-12 normally and I would probably use my phone until 1:50 to 2:00 but never past 2:00. I don't even know why I think that's a good thing but it's better than before where I would stay up until 3...
And that's all of the questions that I picked... Sorry guys.... Because most of the questions are pretty broad, I just picked from questions that covered the most items!! I hope this will helped you guys?? Until next time, stay cool ma beans and moisturize!! ;)

Memorial Monday: Let's Talk Annoying People

1:19 PM

Okay so right now... My favorite store to buy clothes is Ross and my favorite shoe store is Burlington. I don't even go to the mall anymore because the stuff that I find is seriously all less than $20 at these stores. I have super tiny feet before I think my feet were like size 5 and like last month I bought a pair of shoes that is size 4, and now I can't even fit into size 4 because it is so big. I literally buy all of my shoes from the children's section. Anyways, since these clothing stores are department stores with everything from food to gardening tools... It's no doubt that the people who shop there has no manners.

Let's start with the staff that works there. Ross is like Big Lots (my favorite snack place... I buy tea from there... LOL) anyways both of these places are staffed with old people who are very... extremely... *insert all synonyms of very* grouchy. So this one time, I wanted to try on my clothes and they are like, "PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON THE RACK PLEAAASSEEE. RIGHT NOW!!" I had like 8 different stuff to try on and all of the hangers are all wrangled together so I couldn't put it on that fast and I get this kind of attitude. Basically every single time that I go to Ross, something like that happens. Oh here is another experience that I had, so it was my grandma's birthday, and my mom bought two pairs of the same pants for her to try on, and then on one of the pants they forgot to take off the weird security thing with the ink thing if you broke it... that heavy thing... Yea... And so when my mom and I went with her to return the bigger pants, they were like, "YOU DEMONIC CHILD!!! YOU STOLE THISSSS AND NOW YOU WANT MONEY BACCKKKK????!!!!"
They actually didn't say the beginning but they were basically accusing my mom and I for shoplifting. Second the people who shops there are the WORST!!! They literally do not care about anyone. I've passed by so many people that smelled like fried food, onions, tacos, and cooked things. I seriously do not understand how someone could smell like that and go IN PUBLIC!! There are three Rosses near me, and so today I went to the smaller one. OH MY LORD JEZUZ!!
Since the place is really small AND they moved things around so they are closer together, it is even harder to maneuver around. There was this lady, she was trying on a outer covering in front of one of the mirrors next to the racks and she just left her cart between the aisle, and so when I tried to push my cart through... IT WAS RIGHT THERE!! And you know that thing where you like move your things out of the way when someone is trying to pass??? YEA SHE DID NOT DO THAT!! Oh my fluffy chickens. Then some people just don't say excuse me, there have been so many instances where people just shove pass me. So that's how I spent today. Shoutout to all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives so I can be alive right now to write this blog. Thank you so much for protecting our country. Until next time, have a great Memorial Day and stay cool ma beans!!
