Catch Up on MY LIFE!!

5:45 PM

Alrighty... I have so many stories for you guys... Let's start with the first story which I believe is the most important one yet... I GOT GA/PIT TICKETS TO SEE EXO!!

YAY!! I am seriously so hyped that they are coming, what happened was that I had my friend buy me the ticket while I prayed by holding my phone. When she texted me like two seconds after that we got the tickets, I cannot believe what I was seeing. I AM SPENDING VALENTINE'S DAY WITH CHANYEOL, D.O, AND KAI. OH MY GEEZ!!
I still can't process how great my life has been in 2016. But then, last night, My Music Taste posted a thing on Facebook where they were like, "GA seating people will vote on whether the seating will be first come first serve or by ticket number."
I just realized that there are around 4,000 people who bought GA tickets and so... IF it's first come first serve, I'm not gonna get to the front and let me tell you something, I'm 5'3... So I literally need to be in the front because I cannot see... No way is it going to be first come first serve. If it was going to be by ticket number, I would be behind 200 something people still... So at this point, I want to sell my ticket... So if y'all want a ticket for GA4 at LA hit me up and email me!! We can def work something out!!

Second story is a doozzzyyyy, seriously why am I not writing an autobiography?? Well... probably because no one will buy it... *awkward laughter* anyways, as you beans know I am a artist. I draw, paint, sketch, do all kinds of fun stuff... and just after New Years, I happened to sketch a picture of Dove Cameron... if you are into Disney shows (I am... I kind of never grew up) she's in practically two of them...
She's so pretty...
She liked the picture and my Instagram basically exploded with likes and followers. So right now I'm at 800 followers in a matter of three days... Honestly I didn't post that picture to get her to like it, I just wanted to show people my art... I guess the attention came out of no where... I'll definitely be working even harder now to become a better artist than before.

Part two of this catch up is coming soon... Until next time stay cool ma beans!!

Big Bang

Weekend Happenings: Homecoming Happened but I had BIG BANG

9:00 AM

This Saturday one of the worst and one of the best events happened. Lets hear the bad news first... My school's homecoming happened. It was filled with teenagers grinding, dark lights, and the student council spamming my Facebook wall with pictures. Am I bitter?? Nah, nawwwww, nahhhhhhwwwww, not. at. all.

You see, normally I don't care but I think I really missed out this year because A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WENT WITHOUT DATES!! Literally 3 packs of girls rented a party bus and just went together. It honestly looked so fun... (T o T) BUT WHILE THEY WERE THERE... I HAD A LOT MORE GOING ON IN MY LIFE!! Four words: Big Bang in LA. Yes that's right I was there... virtually... BUT IN MY DEFENSE I HAD VIP SEATING OKAY?? So one of my best friends got a VIP ticket to their concert. It was amazing because she was literally in a VIP room above the stage. UHHHH GREAT VIEW?? YES PLEASE!! She was kind enough to Facetime me and literally it was the most amazing experience ever. GD LOOKED AMAZING EVEN THROUGH THE FUZZY FACETIME CAMERA!! I wish I could bring you beans with me... The connection was pretty bad though because I was outside purse shopping after a stressful day... Yes I buy things when I'm tired. I hope ma beans had a equally amazing weekend!! Until next time stay cool ma beans.

First Rain

10:17 PM

I honestly think that it's a sign that this year is not gonna be that bad because... LA IS CURRENTLY RAINING!!!! FIRST RAIN OF WINTER!!!! I don't even know why I'm so excited.... It's just probably that the drought will end soon and I don't have to see depressing signs like the ones that I saw while traveling. First rain is super important so I went with a monochromatic outfit so it can make my Bestey Johnson umbrella pop. I wore some dark skinnies, with a black Hollister hoodie, black shiny combat boots, and my white "Celfie" shirt. It totally brought out the umbrella that I was using which had pink and red lips on it. The puddles at my school were huge, so the boots really kept me warm and rain water free. The downside to this outfit is that the weather turned from chilly to stuffy in a matter of seconds... So the jacket on top was kind of unnecessary but I wanted to embrace fall so badly that I had to wear it. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

This style of hoodie is really big, so you can layer up during winter.
I love how this hoodie is really loose on me unlike the other hoodies
that Hollister originally carries.
You've all seen this shirt before, but it actually doesn't look like this.
I bought that shirt from Target, so the style is more like a round neck
T-shirt rather than a semi-scoop neck as shown here. This T-shirt is also
really baggy but it looks really nice with skinny jeans.
Gross picture but you get the idea... #itsjustjeans
Again... my feet are tiny... so children shoes are the best!!
Last but DEFINITELY not least... My umbrella to add a dash
of bright color in my bland day.

Q&A Thursday: The Hot California Weather

9:00 AM

Every year when school first starts, for the first two weeks it is ridiculously hot in LA... Like before the 90 degree weather feels like winter. The highest that we've reached this week is 113 degrees and guess where I was when the temperature was this high?? I was having lunch... OUTSIDE.... BURNING WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING!!

For those in school, these few weeks are the worst because you can't go to the beach (even if you can you will probably get a sunburn within 10 minutes) and you don't have anywhere to go to cool down... So I'm here today to give you guys a few tips on how to cool down during this horrendous time.

Wear sunscreen. I'm not even joking, those times when your mom forces sun screen on you... It actually is verryyyy helpful. Since I've been couped up indoors for the whole summer, I am really pale when school starts and you know how Asians are with paleness. I honestly don't really care about getting darker but it's the fact that I don't want to get skin cancer since I'm exposed to the sun so much.
You should also know that I hate wearing sunscreen, it's super greasy and you are just shinny after putting it on, so I FOUND A LOOPHOLE!! Use BB cream, I'm using the same BB cream from my Summer Make Up Essentials and it's absolutely awesome because 1) it evens your skin tone out 2) you get sun protection 3) it's not greasy 4) You get to tell your mom the reason why you are wearing make up!! YAY!! Problem solved!!

Bring vegetables and fruits instead of chips and other high sodium foods with you for lunch. I think this tip really refreshes your mouth while you are outside eating during lunch. The vegetables just freshen's up your face and you just feel a little bit more cooler rather than eating the bags of chips that you brought. I normally bring cucumbers to cool myself down or apples (I love apples... but they get mushy if you don't keep them cool).

BRING A HAND HELD FAN!! I love this tip because it gives me an excuse to go outside and buy a new fan!! I'm talking about the Asian ones that are manual. You can also bring an electronic one but it's not as effective because the wind is really soft. During lunch if it gets too warm, just fan yourself or your friends. Help them cool down a bit.

Tie your hair up. Simple but sometimes, wanting to look beautiful gets the best of us. No lie but I look better with my hair down but it's so warm these days that I just want to tie up all of my hair and look pretty at the same time!! NO FEAR BECAUSE I FOUND SOME SUPER CUTE YOUTUBE TUTORIALS THAT ACTUALLY WORK ON ALL HAIR!! I hate feeling my hair sticking to my neck because I'm sweaty from going from class to class.
I seriously love Jenn. I always style my hair with the third hair style whenever my hair is oily or it's really warm.
I used all three of these looks but the last one works the best for me just because I look super cute in braids.
Another problem with the heat is that the teachers turn the A/C on all the way until it feels like a meat locker, so you are super cold but then you are exposed to the heat and you start getting allergies because your environment is changing so fast. I have a solution for this... Bring a flannel.
I seriously love flannels so much, literally you throw it on with anything... Tanks, shirts, dresses and still look put together. It's a light covering that is better than a cardigan but it still keeps you warm.
Bring a bottle of water plus a juice pouch. I always like to eat sweet things when it's warm so I always bring something sweet for lunch, and when I don't finish the juice pouch I just use pour it in to my water bottle. The juice gets diluted so there is a little bit of flavor in your water. I usually use a stainless steel bottle so not only the water is sweet but it is also really cool to drink.
I hope these tips are enough to keep you warm until the heatwave is over. I really hope I don't melt over the next few weeks. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

WTF Wednesday: Open Mic Fan Fiction KCON LA 2015

9:00 AM

I would like to post what the fan fic was about but that would ruin my no sexual content streak... *Insert awkward laugh here*... Seriously though okay here is what happened... KCon LA ended last Sunday while I cried on my bed that I didn't go and this morning when I checked my phone the next day, this was literally everywhere. There was a OPEN MIC 18+ FAN FICTION READING at KCon LA this year.

WHY?? WHYYYYYY??? AND GUESS WHO HAD TO READ IT?? THAT'S RIGHT HOON BAE HIMSELF READ THE STORY!!!
Hold on. Let me go and stab myself multiple times and smash my brain for reading what the fan fic was about. Just know that it has something to do with Baekyun and Chen. I never understood or read even on fan fiction. Why would you ship two guys together? Like they never said that they were together, so why are you shoving them together sexually??
I do get that hey Chanyeol and Baekyun looks cute together LIKE BROTHERS, but fan fiction is just wayyyyy to much. A while back, some fan sent Chanyeol a fan fiction and it was BY ACCIDENT!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?? That was an accident which is understandable but this is ON PURPOSE!! By reading this, you are just grossing out the people around you, and making others feel uncomfortable. Imagine reading Fifty Shades of Grey in public where your parents are. You wouldn't would you, BECAUSE IT MAKES OTHER PEOPLE FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE!! This made me very glad that I wasn't there to participate this year but imagine if the fan fiction was about the group that was performing that day. You won't get their attention but you would just gross them out.
I don't see any purpose in the Open Mic from a business perspective. First, it doesn't attract more people to the event, you guys are literally building a bad reputation for yourself. Second, because of this stunt, maybe idols wouldn't want to come to KCon anymore. This is gonna spread in the KPop world and this will give the KPop fans a bad reputation of writing gross things and making idols read them. I thought that this year's KCon couldn't go anymore perfect with all of the lineups even though Jackson wasn't here, but it wasn't because IT ENDED ON THE LOWEST AND GROSSEST NOTE EVER!! I'm not against writing fan fiction because it takes a lot of creativity, but I don't ever want to read one or hear one at an even that I paid to go to. I hope this tradition doesn't last. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

Amber

Star Sightings: Amber + Tao + GOT7

11:09 PM

Being in LA is honestly the best thing ever!! Even though the weather is crazy (technically the whole world's weather is crazy because of global warming...) I still gotta say... I'm pretty happy with all of the celebrities that are produced from here. Recently as all of you know, Tao recently moved to LA to stay with his mom, and I just happen to know exactly where is he staying because my dad's studio is one block from that house. Did I actually go and knock?? No, I need to respect his privacy. GOD PEOPLE!!

From his Instagram, all of the places he's been to so far, I've been there also, which is awwweeeesomeeee. It's great that I get to share a part of my favorite city with him. Next I've got Amber from f(x), she recently posted a picture of her at a burger restaurant and that restaurant is two blocks from my weekend/vacation house.
Real life Go Mi Nam...
I've went there once or twice but I never thought that Amber would go there!!! AHHHH I now need to go and stalk her.... JK.... But I seriously love her!!! I saved the best for last of course, GOT7. Here is the thing, Mark Tuan graduated from my high school, and his little brother graduated last year. Well, there has been some controversy over whether Mark graduated or not, and no he did not. He was scouted by JYPEntertainment in high school and so he technically dropped out of high school when he was in 10th grade. So now you guys know!!
You know what the best part is?? One of my friend's mom works with Mark's mom, so literally, she gets free access to them 24/7. SOOOO JELLLYYYYY.... Remember how sometime around 2 months ago, GOT7 came back to LA to visit?? Yea, she got to go their house, and take pictures with them... She literally is the coolest person that I know because she has the most recent news on GOT7. Rumor has it that they are planning on coming to KCon LA.... Is it true?? It's a maybe... So that's the end of my KPop star sightings... Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

Relaxation Saturday: Getty Center

7:36 PM

Three day weekend, so let's take a trip to the Getty Center + Malibu. So I got up this morning at around 8:00 and got ready to leave for the museum. For today, I wore black leggings, a leather jacket, my gray T-shirt dress that I bought last week, and my black shiny boots. Last night I curled my hair, and everything was already prepared. I also bought this new Covergirl lipstick that is super moisturizing and since I am near the beach, I wore some sunblock. So that's my preparation. Once we got there, it was around 11, so I grabbed one of those museum information thingies that plays summaries of each of the artifacts. Yea one of those. So I walked around the museum for about 2 hours then I took a snack break and I drew a sketch of the garden. So this is where things get exciting... I know some of you guys have never been to CA let alone Malibu... I've only been there like three times... In movies, at Malibu is filled with beautiful blonde girls and guys who are super cute surfers that hangs out at the beach everyday, then on the street across, there are huge spaced out mansions in addition on to the expensive boutiques. Well today, I saw two hot blonde surfer guys, and some mediocre looking girls. The beaches are completely flat and the sand is filled with trash. The mansions are crowed on the hills next to the street that is lined with cars. The patrol officers there are extremely racist at least to me. Here is what happened, we stopped at one of the beach sides, and these two patrol officers rode on horses, and so my dad and I decided to go and take a picture with the horses. While taking the picture, my dad tried to make small talk with the officer, and he introduced himself and told her that he really liked horses because he is an artist. But since his English is kinda broken, she laughed and pointed and said, "I am the police!" *Insert fake laughter here.* Are you kidding me right now?? I speak English and I can understand you fully, and that is not okay. You should realize that as an authority figure, you have an image to uphold. You should definitely snicker at someone who is paying taxes that probably goes to your salary. Another thing "officer" how come when another family asked you for pictures you did not say anything?? I am ashamed to even have come in contact with you. So I got that off my chest... But then on the way back, I saw two lime green Lamborghinis... That doesn't really mean anything but that's still better than that last story. At the end, just don't drive alongside Highway 1 because you will be disappointed. Until next time stay cool ma beans.

Artistic Saturday

Artistic Saturday: The First Watercolor

9:00 AM

My dad has this vase of roses in the front of the studio. I bought it with him at downtown LA. The vase is actually from the same store. If you live around LA, you must have gone to downtown as least once. One of my best friends are from there, so I have to visit her once in a while. This time, my dad dropped me off with her, while he went to go buy the flowers. That's the boring story that went along with this. But the reason why I wanted to share with with you guys is because this was actually also my first ever water color. That's also why it's so lacking in skills. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
