Alrighty... I have so many stories for you guys... Let's start with the first story which I believe is the most important one yet... I GOT GA/PIT TICKETS TO SEE EXO!!

Every year before school, there would be a small glitch that would reveal the schedule for next year on the grading portal that my school district uses and today, that glitch happened again.
When colleges are looking at your application, there should be a lot of decorations along with your good grades, so of course, I got some volunteering opportunities and a internship this summer. Normally during the school year, I would teach little kids art as my dad's assistant art teacher on Saturday for about two hours, then it will depend on the day when I go and volunteer for the TAB. This summer in addition to those things, I managed to get a internship/volunteer opportunity with a chiropractor. My first shift was actually last Saturday and boy it was awesome!! The doctor that I'm volunteering for is Dr. W, he owns a small but well known clinic next door to my dad's studio. I got there around 3 ish and so I signed in and the nurse on duty started showing me what I needed to do. The thing was, she was getting paid for doing the job that she's doing, but since I was there, I was doing everything for free, so I guess that's why Dr. W let me volunteer since you have to be an adult to be able to help the patients. I assisted him anyways, for the two hours I was there, I saw three patients, made 3 appointments, and assembled two new patient folders. I literally stood for 2 glorious hours experiencing what a pre-med intern would experience. Because of this assistance job, I literally fast forwarded my life by 10 years!! Anyways, I helped to massage the patients and use ultra sound. The best part is, I get to go there every Saturday starting now. I am also going to try to make it to a kitten shelter orientation, but I think that it's too far. We'll see what happens. I am also going on vacation on July 4th for I think 3 days?? It's short because I have cats... I am also starting a series of Chinese TV shows and dramas, so get ready for some reaction posts. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
If you have a LINE or pays a lot of attention to After School Club, finally in 2 years, EXO is coming back for a interview. Most of the time they would ask for fan art and since this time is EXO, I had to submit something, and so I started working on a pen portrait today. Since only Baekhyun and Kai are coming, I just drew a selca of them together. You know... I had this all mapped out, their proportions were going to be perfect and they will all look perfect with my awesome pen skills.
Every artist has their favorite medium to use and for me it's the blue pen, it has always been a signature thing. Pens are super portable and you can just draw on anything with a pen!! So I used a blue pen to draw them in my art journal. I don't call it a sketch book because well, I don't only draw in it, I also write my thoughts in it. The thing is... I didn't do my measurements properly, so in the end their faces looks like those cartoon drawings of real people... I tried finding the word for it but I couldn't... LET ME DESCRIBE TO YOU GUYS WHAT IT IS!!! Like the people's proportions are super exaggerated but it still looks like them. It's like bobble head art.... I'M NOT CRA CRA!! THAT'S A REAL THING!! Disney has those things... Anyways, I don't think anyone did fan art in this medium so next Tuesday when After School Club is on, and you notice a blue pen picture of them... That's mine!! And so tell your friends that usually I don't suck at drawing... and that is the only thing I'm suppose to be good at.... Until next time, stay cool ma beans and wish me good luck!!

Three day weekend, so let's take a trip to the Getty Center + Malibu. So I got up this morning at around 8:00 and got ready to leave for the museum. For today, I wore black leggings, a leather jacket, my gray T-shirt dress that I bought last week, and my black shiny boots. Last night I curled my hair, and everything was already prepared. I also bought this new Covergirl lipstick that is super moisturizing and since I am near the beach, I wore some sunblock. So that's my preparation. Once we got there, it was around 11, so I grabbed one of those museum information thingies that plays summaries of each of the artifacts. Yea one of those. So I walked around the museum for about 2 hours then I took a snack break and I drew a sketch of the garden. So this is where things get exciting... I know some of you guys have never been to CA let alone Malibu... I've only been there like three times... In movies, at Malibu is filled with beautiful blonde girls and guys who are super cute surfers that hangs out at the beach everyday, then on the street across, there are huge spaced out mansions in addition on to the expensive boutiques. Well today, I saw two hot blonde surfer guys, and some mediocre looking girls. The beaches are completely flat and the sand is filled with trash. The mansions are crowed on the hills next to the street that is lined with cars. The patrol officers there are extremely racist at least to me. Here is what happened, we stopped at one of the beach sides, and these two patrol officers rode on horses, and so my dad and I decided to go and take a picture with the horses. While taking the picture, my dad tried to make small talk with the officer, and he introduced himself and told her that he really liked horses because he is an artist. But since his English is kinda broken, she laughed and pointed and said, "I am the police!" *Insert fake laughter here.* Are you kidding me right now?? I speak English and I can understand you fully, and that is not okay. You should realize that as an authority figure, you have an image to uphold. You should definitely snicker at someone who is paying taxes that probably goes to your salary. Another thing "officer" how come when another family asked you for pictures you did not say anything?? I am ashamed to even have come in contact with you. So I got that off my chest... But then on the way back, I saw two lime green Lamborghinis... That doesn't really mean anything but that's still better than that last story. At the end, just don't drive alongside Highway 1 because you will be disappointed. Until next time stay cool ma beans.
