Flashback Monday + Tuesday: The Last Two Days

9:55 AM

I didn't post on Friday because seriously, this post will combine everything I had to say on Friday. Let's take a look back at this school year shall we?? Remember when I was complaining about the AP test and my teachers?? And the numerous dumb people in my periods?? Well, I am still complaining about them. JK, I will probably leave that at the end of the post because it's time for some positivity on this blog and also to end the year.

There has been so many firsts this year, even though they might not all have been fun and games, it was still a good experience. Let's go all the way back to registration day... This year was the first time when I was allowed to keep my hair down for my ID picture.
That's right people, my mom is this strict and I was required to put my hair up into a pony tail every time. The second first... Does that make sense? I guess so, of course, I took my first AP class. It was horrible in both the people involved and the teacher involved, but it was still a first. Then when the class started, it was the first time where I had to stay after school until dinner time for a school activity, and come during the weekend to the park. It also gave me the first time where I stayed up passed 2 on a school night.
Not because I was doing actual work, but I was watching stuff so I can update you guys which is awesome!! This was also the first year where I wore black in school. Ya guys, I wore color before... LOL no... The thing is, I only wore navy blue before, I didn't have anything black, and now I am slowly evolving my wardrobe into something more mature and stable. I do still wear color... I'm not turning emo but I am wearing more professional colors like grays, blacks, and solids.
Aiming for this look...
BTW... I like pink but I look fat in pink... Yea my logic works. This year has also been the first year where I was not involved in a relationship or a crush. I did find some people attractive... I find a lot of people attractive but I did not like any of them for their personality. This shows how bad my school is because literally no one is attractive anymore. It's also the first year where I am involved with a school activity, again it's not a great experience because everyone is super fake... but it's still a first!! I think that's all the firsts this year... I saved my favorite first last which is starting this blog. It's actually the first step I took into my blogging career!! I wanted to thank you guys for going through thin and thick with me, so thank you!! When does your school year end?? Comeback tomorrow for the lasts that I've experienced this year. Until next time stay cool ma beans!!

Flashback Friday: Memories

10:08 PM

Have you ever listened to a song or watched a movie and the memories that floods back is so overwhelming that you get teary eyed?? Just me?? Well, I have a lot of those moments, so I am here to tell you about them.

The first memory that I want to share is the most important one for me. It is connected to my first Korean drama: Goong/Princess Hours. When my mom showed me this drama, I think I was still in third or fourth grade, and I was still in Rainbow Unicorn Land. My parents weren't very wealthy during that time since they just moved to America. We still lived in a rented home with the landlord. It was two separate houses in one yard. The back yard was a really big empty cement pool that was never filled for the time that I was there, the front yard was filled with avocado trees. When I first saw that house, I loved it because I was simple and inviting. My neighbors also had kittens that I fed everyday. I had spent nights watching that drama with my mom and she would explain to me what was going on. Each time I hear any soundtrack from that drama, I would be brought back to that little house, where I got my first hamster, where I memorized the fifty states, where I talked to my grandpa, and where I had to crawl through the window three times because my dad forgot his keys.

The second is actually the movie Gnomeo and Juliet. It's cheesy and childish but this was the first English movie that I watched. This actually have a back story and this takes place after I moved from Rainbow Unicorn Land. I moved when I was in sixth grade, and on the first day, I met this group of girls who were super nice and everything, but then two of the girls were super close with each other. We were all going to see a movie once, and this was the movie, my mom thought that it would be dangerous if I went out alone... Being that I was only twelve back then, so I couldn't go. The following day, they were all talking about it, and I was left out once more, so this became the first movie that I watched.

Flashback Friday: Back to When I Cared

9:30 AM

Dear the guys that USED to like,

Hey you, the curly haired boy that I liked in second grade. I was too shy to talk to you, so I just silently watched you like a creep. See, I didn't even learn your name. You will forever be known as my first crush.

Hey you blue eyed cousins that sanwiched me in third grade. B, you were the best right hand seat partner ever because you stayed in during recess to help me with my spelling homework while I impressed you with my math skills. R, I seriously didn't know that B and you are cousins and you are the best left hand seat partner ever because when you saw me at the park, you hide and seek with me.

What's up C, the guy who had a crush on my best friend. You basically became the heart throb in fourth grade and everyone flounced near you, even guys. You were basically the perfect bundle back then. You were good at sports, had a nice face, and super smart. When I moved, I still managed to remember you. But do you know what a jerk you are? I messaged you being the naive me in seventh grade asking you if you happened to remember me when you moved to the same school as me. I didn't do that because I still liked you, I did that because I wanted someone that knows my past. Instead of replying, "I don't remember." You didn't say anything.

Hey there, the guy that looked into my eyes in fifth grade. I know that you liked me, even though I pretended that I didn't know. One of your friends actually told me. You are super funny and I remembered that you drew me everyone that lived in your house once in math class. Remember when you tried to impress me? You told me that you could drive your uncle's truck. Most of all, I want to thank you for being a part of my story that got someone else in trouble.

Oh lord, hey cheating buddy of sixth grade. I guess this nick name is a inside joke. I never really figured out how or why I liked you for that time period of a week. Now that I think back, it is because we have a lot in common. You told me many things that you wouldn't tell your friends, and we were close, but not that close. The distance is what made the relationship work. I'm glad that we still are friends.

Hey seventh grade cutie. A new bad boy arrived in school and that's you. I guess I didn't like you for your personality, it was because you wore a clean pressed light blue shirt on the first day of school. I was hoping that I would sit next to you in class but you were one seat away. I like you style and I still do, but I've heard some nasty rumors about you. We never had a chance.

XOXO,
Alexiz

Flashback Friday: The First Time I Asked Out Someone

9:49 AM

Okay, in a way I asked him... But in a way it's super gross.... So leggo...
This all started during promo. I knew this guy and we were "besties" like we were pretty close friends. Before I go on, I need to tell you where he is now. In seventh grade, he was a fob that no one liked and so when he started speaking English, he made more friends but he was not even close to being popular. Being the fob that he is, his family is very rich, so when high school rolled around, he started wearing nice ironed shirts and those private school pants. He's now a extreme wannabe since he is in my school's choir. With dis back ground knowledge, let's actually get to the flashback. I knew that he liked this girl called G and they were closer than we were so this guy goes: "I want to ask her to promo but Idk how to ask her." SO being the retard and lazy cheese ball I am, I just texted back: "I really like you. Would you go to promo with me?" This selfish piece of crap was like: "Wow I did not expect this. But okay, let's go together!" I was just like... WTF.

Like dude did you just trick me into asking you? Are you really that freaking shallow to think that? I thought that he was joking around, and the next day, he started telling other people that I asked him to promo and that's the reason why he is not going to go with G. I was like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Like who does that? His friends started going like, "I thought you guys were just friends? They were so perfect together..." I heard that so many times that day, so by the end of the day, I went up to the guy and I told him that I was answering his question, and that I am not going with him. AND OH MY LORD.
His friends are the most nosy people ever. I just left when they called my name and asked me what was going on. I now need to go hold myself in a corner and rock back and forth to get this memory out of my brain. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

CAHSEE

Flashback Friday: CAHSEE Edition

10:26 AM

OLO everyone! Welcome to Flashback Friday, where we reflect on the past week by sharing my past experiences and hopefully this gives you some help in your life as well. As y'all all know, I am a Sophomore in high school, and this week there was the horror known to humanity as the CAHSEE. The test is not hard (-x = 3 find x) but it is the process that is painful. Basically, you have to get up extra early to get to school as if getting up at a regular time isn't hard enough, to go take this test that prohibits reading textbooks. So this whole "situation" happened on the second day of testing. Ever since middle school there was this guy, let's call him L who sat next to me during state tests, benchmarks, and basically every official test ever since our last names are right next to each other. Knowing this, let us flash back to last year when I was a piece of fresh meat. There was this guy who I've had a crush on forever, lets call him E. I knew that E liked me too, so my best guy friend (U) became our middle man, not like third wheel or anything he just kinda gave me information about what E said about me. U was very close with me, we practically told each other everything but then one day, I started to notice that he was coming in between us... Go check out the whole blog my website: http://ahamilton1018.wix.com/wtfidk.
