Reaction Tuesday: BLACKPINK "WHISTLE"S

OLO ma beans!! Yes, these are back!! WHOOOOOHOOOO!! I seriously love these girls and I know I'm like one week late but cut me some slack since they just had their debut stage this weekend. The first thing I thought when I heard their songs was the fact that some of them literally looks like 2NE1 members.

Jennie is like a mini CL... Literally, they are so similar in style. I think all YG artists are similar in their music style but that's just me. Jisoo is almost Dara like if you pay attention to her eyes and nose. My ultimate bias in the group is obviously, LISA. She is so pretty!! Her Thai roots give her an exotic feeling to her. And through looking at their profiles, I am honestly so proud of these girls. They have trained so so long. NOW TO WHISTLE. BLACKPINK's style is a lot more feminine and girly in comparison to 2NE1. I don't normally listen to YG artists and I'm sorry if you are hurt by the comparison but it's nothing negative. 2NE1 is more of an extraterrestrial vibe while BLACKPINK is toning it down a little bit. I never really liked 2NE1's dramatic fashion but that was another time. I think the MV for this combined Red Velvet and EXO's MV all into one. They are sitting doll-like and then moving into a locker room but I really like the song so far. Is it Jennie the one who is rapping? I'm not really solid on names yet... BUT GURLLLL... Her rap is AOKAY!! AND THE VOCALS ROSE AND LISOO ARE AMAZING!! I also reallllyyyy like the choreo for this MV cause it's so chill and simple. When I hear Lisa rap, I really want to hear her singing voice... I think she'll be amazing at both. I think I like Rose's voice a little bit more because it's smoother. Their fashion for this MV is super cute and casual so I definitely like that. Out of ten, I give this song ten outta ten cause I seriously love all of them and their fans are pretty awesome. Reaction Tuesday: "Congratulations" to Day 6 for Debuting!!

Yes that's right Day 6 debuted and I went crazy stalking their Instagram accounts. WOW. JYP good for you... Finally debuting a band instead of a boy GROUP. I still love love love GOT7 but it's so awesome that there is a change in direction. I love CNBlue (YES THEY ARE MAKING A CINDERELLA COMEBACK REALLY SOON AND I CANNOT WAIT) so I knew from day that I found out that this group is going to be my new love. FIRST: I would like this group to stay together forever just like GOT7 and not like EXO. SECOND: I hope they go on Weekly Idol realllyy soon so I can learn more about them. Now let's actually discuss this song... I literally watched the teaser 10 times... and I just knew that this song is going to be great.... WELL WAS IT??? It was. Okay although I did my fair share of stalking... I still have not mastered all of their names so gonna refer to them as I watch the MV... So if you are on your computer right now... try to follow along.
The MV starts with the guy that's better looking on his Insta sitting on a subway which already looks super casual and normal. Glasses looks great on KPop idols... The guitarist kind of look like Kookie from BTS... The hair, the nose.... The keyboard is so attractive... The drummer kind of looks like this guy from this Kdrama... I can't remember who and it bother me that I don't remember but he does... I think the drama he was the antagonist... URGGG WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER?? This is the first MV where you actually see the main characters kiss during the montage. That was super surprising... I wonder how the behind the scenes went for this... Please release that soon!! I think the lyrics for this song gives a positive message because it's about this guy getting over his ex-lover who dumped him. Because once he forgets her... THAT MEANS US FANS HAVE A CHANCE!!! The girl for this MV meets my standards although the actor with her was a little bit too handsome so he kind of diverted my attention. Out of ten beans (I thought we'd change it up because this is a bean army after all) I rate this song a 10 out of 10!! I had nothing bad to say about it, the song was catchy, and the people were pretty... PLUS IT'S A ROOKIE GROUP AND THEY ARE ALREADY DOING SO WELL?? If they go on Music Core next Friday, I will be sure to be there. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

lot older... Not really a rookie because of the
amount of dramas but he had small roles.

Deep Thoughts Monday: KPop Drama during this Weekend

OH MY FLUFFAY CHICKENS!!! Have you guys seen the drama going through the drama world?? I think you have, so today I am here to discuss some of these topics with you.

  1. DaHyun VS. Sehun: Dahyun is not the same Dahyun from SIXTEEN, this Dahyun is a lot less pretty than the other Dahyun and she apparently stalks the maknae of EXO, Sehun. Many EXO-Ls are calling her a "saesang". EXO-Ls are known for their overly protective nature and their power over social media. What happened was that Dahyun is a current trainee under a some small agency and she is debuting in a group called Pink Lace some time in the future. Then on a Korean site called Pann, she started sending messages to Sehun saying how she wish that he would listen to her album when it came out and how she wanted to meet him, then on Instagram she started tagging him in her selfies. Her Instagram is currently public and her username is: dahyunhand so go and check her out. In addition, she got blocked my Sehun, so WHOOAAAAA even more reasons to target her.... Seriously not really. Anyways, so EXO-Ls are talking about how she should stop hitting on Sehun and throwing shade her way. As you guys all know, I am a huge EXO fan but I don't consider myself a EXO-L because I like other bands, and I don't dedicate my life to them, so yea... I think that EXO-Ls are just overreacting because I've seen many instances where different KPop artists fan-girl over each other, and since Dahyun didn't even debut yet, she is still just a typical girl who likes EXO like the rest of us, the only difference is that Dahyun has a higher chance of meeting them than us or she has even less chance because EXO is so busy. You see EXO-Ls you don't need to target her, she has no chance!! 
  2. Mnet Quality: This is another big deal with EXO in it, so here is what happened, after EXO performed their song on MNet and Mnet uploaded on to YouTube and when EXO-L took the time to get the views up so EXO can win MCountdown, however, when they got the views to 700,000 views, Mnet took the video down enraging the whole EXO army. I just checked the views right now and it is currently at 195, 329 views. I know it's must be so hard to listen to a song over and over again to get the views up because you think it's your job to support EXO and I know that EXO wouldn't be where they are without you guys, but seriously I think that they already feel appreciative for what EXO-L do for them. Plus each of them joined the KPop world because they love what they are doing, they don't really care about awards then. Why do you have to target Mnet?? They only deleted the video so the new video can be a higher quality, not because they don't want EXO to win. I bet you this week, EXO is going to win. So calm down people.
  3. Threatening VIPs: The last story is of course about the threats that VIPs are facing. Recently, Big Bang's comeback took over the charts, they have been winning for the past month actually. Although I only like Loser from their new album, they were the reason why I got into KPop in the first place. Being the sunbaes of EXO, I don't understand why EXO-Ls are threatening to bring bombs to their concerts and saying how VIPs should die in the Korea ferry boat accident. First of all, you EXO-Ls are taining the name of EXO, just like my point above, EXO is happy that they are able to have so many fans supporting them but they will not tolerate the behavior of disrespecting their sunbaes. Why does EXO-Ls have to go to the extreme every time?? You guys are giving the fan base a bad reputation in the KPop world. I am super happy for VIPs because YG bands makes a comeback every few years so it's not doubt that they are winning!! Secondly, the Korea ferry accident is not something you can joke around with, 304 people died in that accident. So please don't joke about things like this. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
