Movie Night with Ma Beans: Girls Love

9:00 AM

OLO ma beans, this is the first Friday of summer and I thought what better way to spend my days of happiness with a movie. I think this movie touches the current events that's going on right now with the Orlando shooting. I send my wishes to all those families who have lost a loved one in that shooting. I was recommended this movie before the shooting happened and I just thought it would be fitting to share this movie now. I came across this movie with a recommendation with one of my YouTuber buddies.

The thing is, we share the movies that we find online. It's mostly new movies from either Korea or China. So far all the movies he has recommended are pretty awesome and so I wanted to share this movie with you guys because I trust that y'all would like this too. I have never watched anything like this before. So let me start all the way from the beginning, so a few months/weeks ago, JKNews (I'm a sucker for their channel) had this episode where they talked about how China has banned homosexual movies. First I was like eh kinda expected it but then my second reaction was... Wait a second... These movies exist in China??? APPARENTLY THEY DO!! So this year I think three movies came out with this idea and so my friend (let's call him A) watched it, made a review and was like "Hey it's a new movie and you're bored so here watch this." I watched it and DAMN GURL... This movie is pretty bomb. Not sure if you can find it or not but this movie was not produced by a big company and the production rate is really quick. I think the first movie of this series came out early this year and because of high demand, this second movie came out around April. So this series is doing pretty good and I'm glad that this movie is so popular. At first glance, I thought the main girl wasn't that attractive but then as the story developed, you learned to like her face. I really like how China is embracing this concept of homosexuals and accepting it. I'm so happy that people are learning to embrace this concept. I don't want to spoil too much but this movie basically follows the struggle of this couple. After the movie, I learned that the main actress is lesbian in real life so this role became more realistic. I give this movie a 10 outta 10 so you should watch it. Here is movie one. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

5K and 4K Fan Service

9:00 AM

I was going to have separate fan services but then honestly I can't think of a interesting post right now that would bless your life so I just combined the two fan services for a extra long fan service... service... Yea that makes sense. ALSO YAY!! We reached 5K!! I am literally half way until ten thousand followers. Y'all are pretty great!! Last time I shared with you ma favorite dramas... so for this fan service I'm going to share with you beans all of the Chinese reality TV shows and DRAMAS that I am totally in love with, where to watch them and all the links to my favorite Chinese movies that I'm SURE all of you will love also.

This is my ALL TIME favorite reality TV show from China right now. It is about a group of special students at one of China's most prestigious acting universities. Every week (I believe) there is one person who is eliminated from this group. I especially love CC... but no spoilers from me. I've linked you episode 1 of the show. If you don't understand Mandarin... Maybe you can find one with English subtitles... Just a warning, don't get too attached.
I literally just picked the most recent episode of this show... This is Happy Camp... It's like Weekly Idol + Running Man... This is a show where actors go to promote their upcoming movies and on the show they perform weird things and compete in super fun competitions. This one has Kris in it... Even though I don't like him... My other child is in this episode so it's a have to!!
This is for all of my Running Man lovers!! You know the part at the end of the episodes where the Running Man cast tear off each other's name tags?? Welllll... This is exactly that part... Well almost. You see... There are around 10 men in black who are chasing this cast but while they are being chased they have to complete challenges. And if they survive until the end of the challenge, they will get a lot of coins and over nine weeks they will collect these coins. Finally at the end of nine weeks, the top competitors will face off until one person wins. All of the participants in this show are all very famous actors, singers, and entertainers in China.

You all know this was coming... BUT RUNNING MAN!! Obviously this is THE SHOW TO WATCH!! I totally love the cast (Luhan... mhhhmmmm and ANGELABABY!!) I belief I linked you guys an episode from season three but right now... If you go and find the channel that uploaded this video I'm pretty sure there are fansubs as a subchannel in the main channel of the channel... Does this make sense?? So there are subs for season four but not any of the other seasons... There might be subs but they might just not be legit.
This is the full version WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES of Tiny Times, if you follow this video the three other movies should also pop up. I seriously love everyone in this movie so I hope you enjoy it too.

This is the Chronicles of Love which is a new drama with one of my favorite actress's hubbie in it. She is the same actress from the movie above so I thought I would add it in here.
This movie is called The Witness. This is one of my favorite movies... Kind of twisted but you even fall for the antagonist in the end. PLUS Luhan the Chinese Fairy is in it!!
After you finish watching all of these, I hope we've reached 6K. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

Reaction Tuesday: UNIQ and Romeo

2:40 PM

OLO ma beans! Okay I'm pretty sure that you guys were expecting this so I need to talk about it. I have been a huge fan of UNIQ even before they made a comeback with EOEO (which by the way, is so awesooomeeeeee). They manage to make Korean style rapping and music into something that is not trying to hard to be like American rap. I also love how their stylist does not try hard to make their group look UNIQ... OMFG I AM SO FUNNY... OkAY... So anyways, they look great when I saw them on the MBC Music Core. Their song EOEO is on replay as I write this... I need to point out something though, all ¨Korean¨ bands are incorporating Chinese members in it. I personally think that this might cause more problems in the future (cough cough... EXO comes into mind). I really have nothing against it, since it is more beautiful guys to stare at, but I couldn't help but think about their future. I really enjoy the music of this band, and not necessarily the people that are in it... I'M SORRY!! But I dont like any of them, like their faces are just really stereotypical... If you really look at them, their faces are the same shape... and their eyes are the same... Their appearance is another cookie cutter appearance. Out of a ten star scale, I think they are a 6 because I love their music so much but they are lacking in the physical appearance area.

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD!! I dont know if you heard, but I did... AND ROMEO IS DEBUTING IN MAY!! For those of you who dont know, Romeo is this band debuted by CT Entertainment which is a sub company of SM Entertainment. Two things comes into mind when I say this: 1) Will they be treated like how EXO is being treated? Okay this conclusion is brought by the fact that Romeo is a 7 member band, and that is very large (much like EXO) PLUS Romeo is made of Chinese AND Korean members. So what if everyone starts leaving again? 2) Will the band be a hit? So far, to be honest... the bands so far would release one song, and then they would disappear. Much like WINNER and EXID. After releasing one hit song, then they disappear. Unlike Big Bang or BAP, their names are not present in every day situations. You dont mention Big Bang in your home everyday? Girlfriend, there is something wrong wif you. Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
