Reaction Tuesday: EXO wants to "Sing for You"

9:00 AM

OH MY MY MY MY!! I am so hurrrpppyyyyy that EXO had a comeback during the last week of school. At first when I listened to the song, I didn't really like it but after hearing Baekhyun sing his solo at Music Core... I LITERALLY FELL OUT OF MY BED!! All of them improved so much and became so stable.

I am so happy to see them grow and become the great young men that they are now... I am a very proud parent!! All of them are working out now and even Sehun looks more handsome than cute. DID YOU SEE SATANSOO SMILE?? OH MY!! Melt my heart please!! The song is so sad though, it's a lot like "Promise" in which they look so happy but they are actually hurting. The MV concept is a lot like "December" plus iKon's "Apology"... The whole black and white concept in the KPop industry is getting old. Please people I would like to see some Koloure!! I also saw a post about the whale and astronaut reference for their album cover but it's just strange... The video makes me so sad because they are all together and happy... OH MY MY... KAI DANCING BALLET GIVES ME LIFE!! I LOVE THIS TOO MUCH!! Okay I gotta pause because Channie and Suho are fighting. This makes me too emotional like the BTS MV...
One question though... Are they old enough to be drinkin?? Because gurrlllll... Y'all have a rated 15 on Kdramas that doesn't have anything in it... So should they be in dem bars?? I FIGURED OUT THE FILTER USED IN THIS MV... It is the filter: Silver. So now you guys can have radiant skin like Chanyeeoooolll. I seriously want to see the behind the scenes of this MV... SM PLEASE GET ON IT!! Overall this MV deserves a ten outta ten because I LOBBB ITTT!!! Please show EXO loads of love!! I have collected all of the album teaser pictures below:

Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!

Project Inspiration: The Beginning of Another Viral Star

11:22 AM

I am seriously grateful that this interviewee has agreed to do this interview because seriously she is super busy with school and YouTube, so it's awesome that I will be featuring her on this week's post. Without any more blabbing, here is the interview:

Q: To begin this interview, could you tell my viewers a little about yourself and how you got started with performing covers on YouTube?
A: My name is Jasming Jia-Ming Clarke. I am currently 15 years old, turning 16 in September. I am half Chinese, half Australian and I moved from Perth, Western Australia to Los Angeles a year ago. I started making covers on YouTube because I watched lots of other singers on there and thought it was pretty cool.

Q: How long have you had a YouTube channel and how long have you been singing?
A: I have had a YouTube channel for about 5 years now and started singing when I was around 4 years old.
smile emoticon

Q: Has singing always been a passion and hobby of yours?
A: Yes, I have always found singing enjoyable and I like to sing around the house and in the car a LOT.

Q: Do you ever feel like that doing covers and posting them on YouTube as sort of a career or a job of some sort? Like obligations.
A: Not really. Sometimes I feel like I should post more often because some people say "they're waiting" and I take a long time, I usually average one a month :')

Q: Random question number one: What is your favorite main dish? See how I didn't ask "food" because that's to generic?
A: My favourite main dish would probably be creme brule. I am a total sweet tooth.

Q: Do you have a preference for a specific music genre that you like to listen to?
A: Yess, I do! I like listening to Pop Soul, Rock (+ J-Rock) and KPop.

Q: As you can see from this blog, I am a fan of KPop so have you come into contact with KPop before and do you like it?
A: I AM OBSESSED WITH KPOP.

Q: Random question number two: What is the most recent movie that you have watched and did you enjoy it?? Please rate it on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being horrendous and 10 being awesomely beautiful.
A: I watched Pitch Perfect II and I lurbed it. In my opinion, it was better than the first movie. I would rate it a clear 8/10.

Q: Have you ever had a WTF experience? Can you tell my viewers a rant or WTF story??
A: OMG, so this will be embarassing but whatever! I was watching a drama and there was this gorgeous actor in it and I was so enchanted by his beauty that I actually felt some drool going down my arm. I WAS DROOLING AND I WAS SO DISGUSTED WITH MYSELF. WTF.

Q: Can you give my viewers some advice about anything, life, love, smiling... JK... You are really photogenic so posing advice would definitely work too.
A: Awe, thank you! Okay. Here we go. Start by a simple pose with a smile, and then start doing random ones while the photographer spazzes out on the camera. VOILA.

Deep Thoughts Monday: Popularity

9:00 AM

Ever since the first steps into kindergarten, popularity ruled the school. Your social status is pre-determined by the people around you, those who speaks louder, and dress nicer than you. Today, ladies and gentlemen, lets discuss about something that everyone can relate to, popularity. Let me begin this with a story. In my grade, this girl is actually from my English class, around the second week into this school year, she left to another country to compete in a distant singing competition. Let us call her, R. Before I go on, let me give you some background on this girl. She won the sixth grade talent show at our school, and she is well known in high school for her singing, but of course, like any other popular girl with a talent, she did not join chorus all because she surpassed them all. She was in marching band though, and sometimes posted videos of her on Facebook. Moving on to her personality, I've had her in my seventh grade math class, she was nice, but I never got to really know her, so I can't say anything to judge her... Until now... When she left, the whole school, especially her best friends began to follow this singing competition, as the rounds went on, and more and more people were eliminated, she made it to top six. Her voice was absolutely amazing, but it wasn't good enough. She was eliminated. And so, last Friday, she flew back to our school, missing one full year of her Sophomore year and with a new arrogant attitude that she is above everyone. When she lost, she reactivated her Facebook, and followed some people that she unfollowed. We can refer to her as popular. The school was buzzing with her arrival, someone even told me about how hot she looks now. When the thing was, no one noticed her before she became "famous" in other words popular.
