After grabbing a free breakfast that comes with the room... We headed to the Carmel Mission where I took the time to read my AP English book while sitting in the garden, of course after I walked through the mission TWICE!! I thought the mission was going to be the same size as the previous ones that I've visited but it's a lot smaller and a lot of the rooms were closed. This mission was super generous because all of the visitors were allowed to pay a donation as a entrance fee rather than purchasing tickets. The weather there was fleek... So much better than LA.... There was sunlight and no fog but the weather was still in the 70s. Afterwards we head to the down town, and looked through the little shops that cost $30 for a T-shirt. Yup... Didn't buy anything besides a magnet... Yea... I'm super cheap....Anyways I then took a hike to a beach that is completely covered in fog... THE SAND WAS WHITE!!! I don't understand... It was beautiful... The fog made my hair wet because it was so concentrated and my skin was super pale and soft. I love that beach.... BUT THEN... BUT THEN... Through the pictures and happiness... I lost my favorite earphones. They were a bright pink pair... And so I now cannot use my earphones until I go to school because I think I'm gonna lose them again. I mourned over my earphones for the rest of the trip.... I am tired from hiking so Imma leave you guys to stay up... Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
I need to first apologize because I am pretty sure that this post is not going to upload on time. Here is the thing, I'm literally spending this whole day on a van with my family and most of the highway is between mountains, so there is no signal = no data. So right now it's 6:30 and just woke up... Yes we are leaving this early, the whole driving time is about 5-6 hours and I need to take care of ma cats and their poop and stuff... So that's some extra time. It's now 9:36 and we are finally getting on the freeway. We usually take our sweet time before leaving so we can make sure that we didn't forget anything. It's now 2 hours into the trip and I've seen a heck lot of farm land... and cows.... OOOOO SOME SHEEPPPPPP.... And I just saw a sign that says, "No water = no jobs" Oh the CA drought.... San Francisco please lend us some of your fog. This is the last hour of driving before we reach the hotel... My butt is cramping and my drama is getting boring... YAY!! WE ARE FINALLLYYYY HERE!! The hotel room is close to the beach but not next to it... It takes about 10 minutes to get there. It's a small and family owned hotel, so not one of the big ones. The Wifi is super slow though, so I don't think I can upload any posts while I'm here.... UGGGGHHHHHHHH... Don't worry... I'll write everything on my phone so I can post it later. The room is super stuffy but it's much cooler than LA where at night time it's still 98 degrees. WOWWOWOWOW this is just wonderful, okay so there was this chair that I was sitting in while I was eating dinner and when I pulled the chair to move it closer to the table... The cushion and the frame came apart and I squished my finger reallllllyyy hard. UGHHHHH I'm in pain..... Okay now I'm currently at the beach 10 minutes from my hotel and it's awesome. There are sea lions and otters everywhere.... I AM SO DONE WITH THEIR WEIRD BARKING NOISES!! They are so adorable!! I think I'm going to sign off for tonight. We still have two more days... Until next time, stay cool ma beans!!
Three day weekend, so let's take a trip to the Getty Center + Malibu. So I got up this morning at around 8:00 and got ready to leave for the museum. For today, I wore black leggings, a leather jacket, my gray T-shirt dress that I bought last week, and my black shiny boots. Last night I curled my hair, and everything was already prepared. I also bought this new Covergirl lipstick that is super moisturizing and since I am near the beach, I wore some sunblock. So that's my preparation. Once we got there, it was around 11, so I grabbed one of those museum information thingies that plays summaries of each of the artifacts. Yea one of those. So I walked around the museum for about 2 hours then I took a snack break and I drew a sketch of the garden. So this is where things get exciting... I know some of you guys have never been to CA let alone Malibu... I've only been there like three times... In movies, at Malibu is filled with beautiful blonde girls and guys who are super cute surfers that hangs out at the beach everyday, then on the street across, there are huge spaced out mansions in addition on to the expensive boutiques. Well today, I saw two hot blonde surfer guys, and some mediocre looking girls. The beaches are completely flat and the sand is filled with trash. The mansions are crowed on the hills next to the street that is lined with cars. The patrol officers there are extremely racist at least to me. Here is what happened, we stopped at one of the beach sides, and these two patrol officers rode on horses, and so my dad and I decided to go and take a picture with the horses. While taking the picture, my dad tried to make small talk with the officer, and he introduced himself and told her that he really liked horses because he is an artist. But since his English is kinda broken, she laughed and pointed and said, "I am the police!" *Insert fake laughter here.* Are you kidding me right now?? I speak English and I can understand you fully, and that is not okay. You should realize that as an authority figure, you have an image to uphold. You should definitely snicker at someone who is paying taxes that probably goes to your salary. Another thing "officer" how come when another family asked you for pictures you did not say anything?? I am ashamed to even have come in contact with you. So I got that off my chest... But then on the way back, I saw two lime green Lamborghinis... That doesn't really mean anything but that's still better than that last story. At the end, just don't drive alongside Highway 1 because you will be disappointed. Until next time stay cool ma beans.
