EXO'LUTION #2 Los Angeles: My Outfit, Merch, and What I brought to the concert

9:00 AM

My OOTD for this concert was soley for comfort rather than beauty and I think I stood out since all the other girls were trying just a bit too hard to get noticed... Some fan decorated her whole black dress with rhinestones that spelled out "EXO"... Devoted.... Things that I don't have time for.

This shirt looks a whole lot cuter. Since I borrowed
this shirt from one of my fanboy friends it was a
bit big so I rolled the bottom of the shirt and sleeves
how I would roll my jeans. I basically changed the
shirt into a put together, boxy shirt.
For my bottoms I wore a pair of Hollister light wash jeggings
to balance out the dark shirt. This pair of pants honestly
protected my legs from rubbing against people's legs and
it just ties the outfit together. I also rolled the jeans one time
because first... I'm wearing high top shoes and second
it matches the same style as my shirt.
I wore these super comfy black high top converse
to match the black shirt but also these shoes are incredibly
comfortable. Just double knot the laces because it tends
to untie... And you know that you might get trampled.
If you are not afraid to be slower and more tired but a whole lot taller...
I suggest you wear a pair of booties... I would have worn these but they
are pretty uncomfortable to walk in. It gives you height if you are
standing and might help you see more clearly.
This is a pair of FOREVER21 sunnies which is supaaaa cutttee!!
I wore this because duh... It matches my outfit but also...
I like to use sunglasses to clip my hair back. Literally it is THE
cutest headband that you can get. Plus it gives your hair more
volume. AND it doesn't fall when you jump. This
pair of sunnies stayed on my head for the whole night
and kept my hair out of my face.
Honestly I am not that into chokers but this choker is just so
simple and it looks more classy than most of the ones that I've
seen... Like the plastic ones... I'm not sure which brand this is
since I bought mine from a vintage shop.
I actually don't have a picture of my purse which I bought from a secondhand store... I forgot what the legit word for it was... It is a cross body bag made from jean material and it has two tiny pockets on the front.

  1. Water is a must bring to the concert. Even though MMT does not allow it, I think as long as you don't have the water bottle open it is okay and they will let you through.
  2. In the first front pocket I was carrying my BABY lip lip balm in Pink Punch which glides on as this super cute pink that lasts for hours.
  3. In the other pocket is my battery pack charger (bring two just in case because I ran out of battery at the end).
  4. Hand sanitizer is also a must because people and germs... Gross...
I love things that smells like citrus...

Now to make up... Since I felt that I'm going to be pretty dehydrated at the end of the concert AND that day was pretty warm too, I mainly focused on my skin. After going through the normal, Shiseido moisturizing process and sunscreen... This is what I applied.
This is my go to product for a lighter coverage.
Of course this is goes on top. This product hydrates
my skin so well that when I washed it off... My skin
felt superrrrr soft. By now I already have two layers
of sunscreen.
Of course mascara...
I didn't wear any shadow or like try too hard on the make up because I knew that I'm going to mess up my makeup during all the cheering. Also since other girls wear so much make up, maybe less is better in this case. Not to say that this "hard to get" way works... but Chen did wave at me... What I ended up getting were one button with Kai on it and it says "EXOLUTION 2016" such a great memorabilia. A Xiumin photocard. Three banners, some streamers, confetti, and of course... Baekhyun's headband. This marks the end of my concert posts. I hope that all ma beans can benefit from this post since y'all are from all over the world and some places where EXO doesn't go for their concert. You will all see a concert some time in your life time. Until next time, stay cool ma beans.

EXO'LUTION #2 Los Angeles: Tricks and Tips in getting the BEST experience

9:00 AM

OLO ma beans. As promised... Since this is my FIRST KPop concert... I had no one to guide me through this stressful process and no blog to give me some idea of what it will be so I had to figure out everything by myself and I believe I got the most out of this concert. For all those first time concert goers this post is for you!!

  1. Let's first start with the concert ticket purchasing... This literally determines how great of a time you are going to have at that concert. Ask someone who has had experience before buy the ticket for you. I asked one of my fellow KPopper to buy my ticket for me. She already knows the procedure so I got probably the best seats in the house if I was sitting by seat numbers and even though I'm not sitting, my spot is still the best.
  2. Making friends is definitely key. If you are nice to other people in line, and constantly say "thank you" and "sorry". They will be a whoollllleee lot nicer to you. Realize that these people have the ability to block your way and won't let you through. AND if you end up in the back but your ticket is better than those people, they might help you get ahead and push you when you are fighting for your seat.
  3. How to fight for your seat. Honestly there is no trick to it but once MMT move you into the holding pit TRY, I SAY AGAIN.... TRY to cut in front of people who are suppose to be after you. And when they get pissy at you just show them your number. BAM GURL... WHAT DO YOU HAVE ON ME??
  4. This is the most important tip. OKAY when you are going into the stadium with the humongous group of people, Stand on the outside near the zigzagging bars where people are suppose to be moving in line. That way you can skip past the people in the center and move through the door more quickly.
  5. Once you are inside you can softly jog and speed walk. No one really cares about whether you are running and once you are inside, go find the place where you are the closest to the stage (obviously). This is very important for your health. And I am not being dramatic at all because two girls behind me fainted, around 20 people fainted during the concert because they were towards the back and they were being suffocated. Chanyeol was forced to tell us "one step back" SEVERAL times during the concert because people were fainting.
  6. Now just make sure that you are hyped and ready to enjoy the concert!!
I know that this is a very very stressful event even for people who are normal concert goers. I hope that my tips helps you when you are going to a concert hosted by MMT. Until next time stay cool ma beans!!

EXO'LUTION #2 2016 Los Angeles: My Experience and What Went Down...

9:00 AM

This is going to be a series of posts and the main focus of this whole week. I wanted to fit everything in the this post but I can't. This concert is my first ever KPop concert and I paid big money for it. The ticket was $239 if I remember correctly because there was also a transaction fee BUT DANG IT WAS SOOOO WORTH!!

I have so, so many videos and stories and I just can't wait to share it all with you. I am probably going to post all of the videos on a another post because there are just too many. Literally I recorded the whole concert and I ran of space half way so I had to delete all my apps BUT STILL WORTH!! Just saying, I got the candy that Baekhyun touched and the head band that he touched... No big deal here... Also I was frrroonnnttt row so I have all the tips and tricks on how to get there.
I made eye contact with this God...
On this post is going to be: my experience and what happened at the concert. Then tomorrow I'm going to upload the tricks into getting front row seats (even though it's more like front row standing) and what the perks are of paying so much for the tickets. Later this week the videos of the concert is going to go up. But before I get to the main post... Gotta make my ma beans a little bit more jealous... Chanyeol and Chen both waved at me. Suho and Sehun were literally two steps away. I made eye contact with Kai and although Lay isn't here... The concert was da bommmbbbb.
Chen was literally in all of my videos...

OKAY now that y'all are done virtually hitting me, let me get to the post. Alright so when tickets went up I had one of my Kpop people buy it for me and I would call her my friend except I've never talked to her until this year. She got me GA4 Group 1 tickets so basically I was SUPPOSE (you'll find out why I use the word "suppose" in a sec) to be the 41th person in line. My other KPop friend (the one who literally touched every single KPop group) was there since twelve o'clock and so she told me to go early but since my mom was driving me, her limit was 3:30. The concert starts at 6:30 and MMT recommended the GA people to be 2 hours early so 4:30. I got there around 4:00 because there was a LA marathon and the traffic was terrible.
Since I got there so late, I couldn't meet up with any of my friends who were already in line so I got my hand stamped and the lady said that I could cut other people since I'm literally the first 100 people to get in so I tried. I ran my way through the line and everyone was super friendly but once I reached the semi-front which is like 1000 people, the line was clumped and I couldn't move any further so I was stuck there while people screamed at other people to move back. Behind me was this lady who was realllyyy angry because her daughter couldn't get through I guess she's super devoted but hey she respected my seat number and let me cut ahead. Once they started letting people in, I was around 50 people behind the gate so that's pretty chill and all hell broke lose when they started letting people into the stadium. I literally have the battle scars to prove it. Some girl gashed my arm with her poster but that didn't stop me.
Once I got inside, if I had shoved harder, I would have been the front row, front and center but then I just let a few people get past me since they were super angry and I slipped through. After making it into the actual stage area, I saw that the front row was already taken for the center, so I ran to the right side of the stage and got front row there. I was actually kind of disappointed that I didn't go to the center of the stage but my front row is so much better.... And I will tell you why in a second. After I got into the actual stage part, I waited for about another hour at least. And the show was pushed back thirty minutes until the whole thing started. During the show around 20 people fainted just around me and EXO kept on asking all of us to move back which is super sweet but the audience would listen then when they are next to the stage, then everyone would try to squeeze again. I am so glad that I chose the front row on the left side than second row on the center because first I am super short and the front row actually have clean air that you can breath in. Literally the people behind me were suffocating and some of the front row people are soooo tall. PLUS I was standing right in front of where Chanyeol gets off stage so I got to wave at him. Also there was an area of the stage where it was like stairs so the members could step a level lower for more interaction and the center people did not have that so I am suuuupppperr glad that I was where I was.
The negatives of this concert is probably the fact that MMT made this event super unorganized. I really hope they can do a better job next time so not so many people would get hurt. I hope you enjoyed this post, tomorrow's post is going to be how to score my ticket, how close I was and tips on how you can get the best seats in da house!! Until next time stay cool ma beans!!
